- What are singles events on Veya?
- Three kinds: Campfires, which are open invites for the next few hours; Plans, which are activities someone is hosting on a set date; and Crews, small standing groups that meet regularly. All are member-run rather than ticketed nights out.
- Do I have to pay to attend?
- No. Joining Veya and attending member-hosted plans is free on the Spark tier. You only pay for whatever the activity itself costs — a coffee, a climbing session, a cinema ticket.
- Is this the same as speed dating?
- No. There is no rotation, no timer and no host running the room. You pick a plan you would genuinely enjoy and meet the handful of people who picked the same one.
- How do I find singles events near me?
- Join free, set your city, and the Campfires and Plans feeds filter to people near you. If your city is not live yet you can reserve your spot and we will open it once enough members are waiting.
