Acceptable Use Policy

Veya is strictly for users aged 18 and over. You may not create an account, post content, or interact with others on the platform if you are under 18. We reserve the right to suspend any account where age cannot be verified.

You may not use Veya to:

• Harass, bully, or intimidate any person — including sexual harassment, stalking, threats, or repeated unwanted contact.
• Promote hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Share sexually explicit or pornographic content — including nudity, sexual acts, or solicitations for sexual services.
• Engage in violence or threats of violence — including glorification of violence, self-harm encouragement, or threats against individuals or groups.
• Scam, defraud, or deceive other users — including phishing, financial scams, romance scams, catfishing, or soliciting money under false pretenses.
• Impersonate others — you may not pretend to be another person, celebrity, brand, or organisation, or create fake profiles designed to mislead.
• Spam or solicit — including unsolicited commercial messaging, multi-level marketing, prostitution, escort services, or promoting external websites for financial gain.
• Distribute illegal content — including content that violates applicable laws regarding drugs, weapons, human trafficking, or child safety.

All content posted on Veya must meet the following standards:

• Accurate and truthful — profile information, photos, and activity descriptions must genuinely represent you.
• Respectful — no abusive, obscene, or gratuitously offensive language in bios, messages, or activity listings.
• Your own — you must own the rights to any photos or media you upload. Do not use copyrighted material without permission.
• Appropriate — photos should clearly show your face (no heavily obscured or misleading images) and must not contain nudity, violence, or illegal acts.

• You may maintain only one active Veya account at a time.
• You must not share your login credentials or allow others to access your account.
• You must not use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools on the platform.
• You must not attempt to circumvent security measures, access restricted areas, or interfere with platform operations.
• You must not use Veya for any purpose other than its intended use as a dating and social connection platform.

If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this Policy, please report it immediately using the in-app reporting feature or by emailing hello@veyadating.app. Include as much detail as possible, including usernames, screenshots, and timestamps.

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We take every report seriously and aim to respond within 48 hours.

Violations of this Policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

• Warning or temporary content removal.
• Temporary account suspension.
• Permanent account termination and ban from the platform.
• Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities where required by law.

We reserve the right to take action without prior notice where necessary to protect user safety or comply with legal obligations.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features, or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use of Veya after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
