1. Zero Unsolicited Messages

On Veya, you cannot receive a message from anyone you haven't connected back. A conversation thread is created only when there is a mutual match, keeping your inbox free from unwanted solicitations.

2. Blocking & Reporting

You have absolute control over who can see or contact you:

  • Instant Block: Stop any user from seeing your profile, plans, or contacting you instantly.
  • Simple Reporting: Report suspicious behaviour or terms violations. Every report is reviewed by our safety team within 24 hours.
  • Age Gate: Our systems strictly enforce an 18+ age limit during account sign-up.

3. Hardened Infrastructure

Veya leverages modern hosting security on top of industry-standard backend cloud networks:

  • Row-Level Security (RLS): Every database query is strictly locked. Users can only access, write, or view data they are authorized to see.
  • Secure Auth: Support for secure social sign-ins (Google & Apple) alongside cryptographically hashed password databases.
  • Private Assets: Uploaded media assets are isolated in secure storage buckets. Private story uploads are automatically bound to your active profile.

4. PCI-Compliant Payments

Your billing and card details are handled with the highest level of security:

Paid memberships (Pulse and Pulse Plus, our premium tier) are processed securely through Stripe. Veya never sees or stores your full credit card digits or raw payment credentials on our servers.
